Erich A. Johnson
Born and raised in the heart of Maryland, Erich Johnson spent most of his childhood bouncing between beaches and barns. He fell in love with books at an early age, from Dr. Seuss as a toddler to his recent fixations on Ernest Hemingway and Stephen King, discovering a bevy of styles and stories that all influence his writing today.
Even at a young age, Erich had a love for storytelling, and has been putting pen to paper since he was a child. Fresh off his debut with the Ladies and Gentlemen of Horror, he eager to jump into a genre that has always held his heart with his contribution to the Ladies and Gentlemen of Fantasy.
When he's not enjoying the tranquility of the Atlantic coast in Ocean City, he can be found in the local pubs and bars of beautiful and historic downtown Annapolis, where he's always willing to share a toast and a story.
John H. Howard
John H. Howard was born in Springfield, Ohio, where he learned a love of books at an early age. After earning his BA in English at Wittenberg University and attending the Denver Publishing Institute, he went on to work in multiple fields that had absolutely nothing to do with English or publishing. He has lived in Ohio, New York, and New Hampshire. He currently resides in Dayton, Ohio and works from home as a quality control editor for a national medical transcription company.
While John's preferred genre is fantasy, he is also inspired by mythology, folk tales, and fairy tales and will write anything that comes to mind. His published works include "Cry of the Banshee" in the "Tomes of Distant Realms" fantasy anthology and "Mrs. Cullling's Reformatorium for Wayward Children" in the "Twisted" fairy tale anthology.
John is grateful to Jennifer Miller for thinking enough of his work to include it in this book. However, these stories probably would not exist without the constant support of his better half, Melanie, who is always happy to help him work through his ideas and make his stories better. Finally, John is blessed with two amazing daughters, Kaitlyn and Sarah, who inspire him every day to be the best person and father he can be. Find John on Twitter: @Jhhoward or:
